1) Strathmore 400 Series Acrylic Pad - 9" x 12" or  Blick Studio Canvas Pad 9x12

White Synthetic Brushes by Artist's Loft (#2, #4 & #8) flat

1 pk of 50, 10 Inch Plastic Plates in Natural White, to use as a palette

HOME WORK

Create a drawing of one of the three images shown below.  

Remember, start with basic shapes first, sketch loosely and lightly until you see the lines you are looking for.  Afterwards, darken (make bolder) the lines you prefer.

Turn your drawing upside-down and your reference photo occasionally (this method will piont-out where you still have to improve upon.

When shading - start with the 2B Charcoal Pencil and then switch to the 4B. Pencil and/or stick.

I will choose 5 artworks at random to discuss in class the rest will be posted in our class website.
