Create a drawing of one of the three images shown below.
Remember, start with basic shapes first, sketch loosely and lightly until you see the lines you are looking for. Afterwards, darken (make bolder) the lines you prefer.
Turn your drawing upside-down and your reference photo occasionally (this method will piont-out where you still have to improve upon.
When shading - start with the 2B Charcoal Pencil and then switch to the 4B. Pencil and/or stick.
