WHAT WE DID IN CLASS
We used charcoal to shade evenly on our drawing surface, (this established what would be the middle value areas of our artwork). The image was then drawn into the charcoal-shaded paper. An eraser was then used to lift away some of the charcoal (creating the light- value areas of the artwork) and to achieve the dark-value areas, additional shading was done with more charcoal .Take-Away Method |

Home Work
Continue the drawings we started in class, using the method the is shown above or draw the colored photo shown below.
These images are more accurately measured as a 4x5 images.....this means that they can be scaled to 8x10, 12x15 or even 16x20 drawings
I mentioned that they were 5x7 during class, please forgive that error.
