Mr. Nigel Morgan is truly a talented and an amazing Artist, which also makes him a wonderful Teacher. He teaches charcoal drawing, painting with watercolor and acrylic, drawing & painting with ink, pastel, all of which I've taken multiple times. All the courses are different and there's always something new to learn. I love how Mr. Morgan starts with the fundamentals; step by step drawing basic shapes, learning values and mixing colors and building upon that. When my work gets critiqued, I get honest feedback, not just your artwork looks great when it really isn't. Mr. Morgan tells me where I can improve on and where it looks great. I really strive to do my best in his class along with so many other students.
With the vast knowledge of art that Mr. Morgan knows, he is truly a gem. His classes get filled up so fast, within hours of his class being announced. Mr. Morgan is like a Black Friday sale, everybody waiting on line to get in on the deal, if I need to shove someone in order to get in, I will lol. You definitely won't regret taking any classes with Mr. Morgan. Even if you think you can't draw, by the end of his class you will, you will start out as a block of marble and by the end you turn into the statue of David.

Nigel Morgan is a skilled professional teacher of art. He is personally skilled in all aspects of drawing and painting. His demonstrations are always on point and easy to follow. He is extremely organized especially for teaching on line classes. His web site is invaluable for understanding homework assignments and being able to share or work with fellow students. He gives very appropriate feedback that aids in each students development. He is also fun and has a light friendly personality that is very pleasant to be around

Nigel's demonstrations are excellent. He explains what he is doing at a pace a student can follow. Nigel explains the color scheme and how to arrange the colors on the palate. His critiques are also very helpful. I took several classes with him online.

Hello Nigel
I took a few classes last year on Zoom
I am thankful to you because I learnt how to draw
I was so immature painter
I like your critiques because it is how one learns
Also learnt to see the world differently in the retrospective of different values

I have attended several of Mr. Morgan’s classes.
I have learned so much about color theory, composition, values etc. During his demonstrations he gives us step by step instructions on how to achieve the final outcome, time to work on our own and a personal critique of our work. Class is fun and challenging.

As a student in the art classes sponsored by the Brooklyn
Public Library, I appreciate that you are my teacher and teach me new things
like color theory, drawing techniques, sketching, values, 3D effects, creating
images using text items... you are a very professional art teacher.
Each of your lessons is carefully planned and prepared. I love your
step by step instructions and demonstrations in class. You are an
inspiring teacher. You can keep us, students actively engaged and boost
our confidence in the arts. I have greatly benefited from your comments

Nigel is a Great, multifaceted Artist and Teacher. His
teachings encompass
many, many different styles and forms and I have learned
many styles from his
virtual classes. I am a beginner artist and have
always found drawing very
hard and Nigel has taught me how to draw and paint by
focusing on shapes
instead of worrying about getting the lines drawn correctly,
and then to
proceed on from there. I was pleasantly surprised with
some of my completed
drawings and paintings. Whether you're a beginner student /
artist or
advanced, Nigel gently pushes you to do better by critiques
of your work,
always focusing on where you can do better.
My favorite class was when Nigel taught us how to make the
"POP OUT" cards. I
am sure that everyone that learns from Nigel will be very
happy they found his
classes. I know I am!!!

Signing up for an art class with Nigel was the best decision ever! I was fortunate to study side by side with him before classes became virtual, and boy was it worth it! He is is very easy going, patient with his students and very knowledgeable. Best of all, he's the caring type of teacher, the one you wish you had in high school.
Nigel takes pride in his teaching and goes above and beyond to help his students excel no matter the level of experience they may have. For me that's what makes learning with him so special and magical.
I always look forward on taking an art class with him. Nigel is the best teacher I ever had, and will be your's too.
