HOME WORK
Sketch with a pencil, ink with your sharpie marker and create a painting of any one on the 3 groups of words shown below. Think of creating your artwork in layers.
You will be using your layers to create a pop-up greeting card, you can make your card 6x6 or 5x5 inches.
As in the 'shark, dancing, concert' demonstration, try not to use photo reference for you artwork. Let the image come from your head.
Your card will be done in the step method demonstrated in class.
Plan the parts of your card (with scrap paper) before you do the actual design.
Assemble the pieces together to see that everything works visually (before you stick the pieces together)
You can use drawing paper to create your rises and watercolor paper for your layers.
